Alesta Fashion Group GmbH was founded in 1985 in Göttingen, Germany. The company initially met the needs of its European customers with its strong production connections in Turkey and reached soon high capacities. With increasing demands, powerful new markets and rising competitive conditions in early 2000s Alesta turned into an internationally operating  textile sourcing company.

Alesta established its first China production in 2004 . Bangladesh (2006) and India (2010) followed with substantially growing production figures. Alesta still actively produces garments in 4 countries and serves its customers on 3 continents.

Alesta offers a fast and efficient service for its clients by providing tailored collections, material supplies, production follow-up and transport organisation, including the financing of all these processes.
